ABOUT

Yin and yang in traditional Chinese medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has its roots in a 3000 year old evolving system of healing that originated in the East. This ancient wisdom has been distilled, refined and standardized into an evidence-based practice to meet our needs in these modern times. Life can be stressful. There is a large demand placed on our energy, time and resources. Stress can build, health issues can linger, trauma can stifle our energy and turn pathogenic i.e Qi stagnates and may become chronic headaches.

Our nervous system and Qi channels hold the key to our ability to manage stress well and live a content life. Acupuncture has the power to kickstart the process of neuromodulation and will redirect energy flow in a balanced way. As a Registered Acupuncturist and Reiki practitioner, I believe that the body holds the wisdom and innate capacity for self-regulation and healing. From a Traditional Chinese Medicine approach; my aim is to facilitate this inner process by restoring the balance of Yin and Yang, stimulate the energy system, enhance immunity and promote a positive energy flow. When I work with patients in this way, my goal is to nourish and regulate their unique constitution, alleviate their symptoms and treat the underlying root causes of the imbalance.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A last-minute cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapist’s day that could have been filled by another client. As such, we require 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. You are welcome to send another person to take your place if you cannot come in. If you do not provide more than 24 hours’ notice, or you miss your appointment, you will be charged 100% of the treatment fee. Our therapists deserve secured income, and we thank you in advance for respecting their time.

We also believe that healthy relationships function best as a two-way street - so, if one of our therapists needs to cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, and if we are unable to find you another therapist on the same day, then we will gift your next treatment free (of the same duration).
